The GSX Waveflex is all about world cup power in a more practical package.
Taking most it's technology from the FIS ski the GSX Waveflex is packed full of energy in a more manageable NON FIS Approved ski.

Keeping all of the key elements the GSX Waveflex uses the Response Frame wood core, RST sidewalls and dual titanium sheets, the GSX has everything one would expect to find in a race ski.The result is a ski that has endless edge hold, loads of power, superb quickness and a precision feel.

Stepping up the technology a bit more, Elan adds in Waveflex to add more torsional stiffness without impacting the tip to tail flex leaving the GSX Waveflex with increased edge hold and easier turn initiation while not making the ski overly stiff.
For a little more energy Elan also uses their Fusion Integration System for better transmission of power from the foot to the edge.Due to the more aggressive Non-FIS approved shape the GSX Waveflex should not be skied by top level USSA racers or anyone that must abide by FIS regulations.

However, because of the more aggressive sidecut the GSX Waveflex is the perfect ski for high school racers, racers starting in USSA or for beer league racers skiing on compact GS or open slalom courses.
